The Importance of Health Care
It wasn’t so long ago that all bacteria were thought to be bad since the first bacteria we were able to identify were pathogens that caused illnesses and infections. Today, we know that most bacteria are either completely harmless or even vital to our health.
Baby and Child Gut Health
Directly after birth, the newborn baby is almost sterile but very soon bacteria start to colonize every part of the body – the skin, the mouth and most importantly the gastrointestinal tract. However, gut problems like colic, constipation, spit ups and abdominal pain are very common in children.
Pregnant Women and Child
Being pregnant is a fantastic experience but it is also a major adjustment for your entire body. Staying healthy with a strong immune system is always important, but even more so during pregnancy.
Adult Gut Health
An imbalance in our gut bacteria can be caused by for example antibiotics, stress or unhealthy food. If bad bacteria for some reason start to exceed it may lead to GI related problems like stomach ache, constipation or diarrhea.
Infection Protection
Infections or stomach upsets may have many causes. But the risk increases when the seasons change. Our modern lifestyle, with too little exercise, a lot of unhealthy food and high levels of stress, is also a major risk factor.
